This is the home of the writings of one VG (as in, Video Game) Panda, or just plain old Panda if you like. To be more specific, this guy:
Panda sees what you did there… and honestly
isn’t sure what to make of it.
I like to write about videogames and whatever else comes to mind, and I thought maybe others would like to read it. Thus, VGPanda.com was born. I’m particularly interested in game design and how it’s evolved across the history of the artform. My favorite kinds of games are usually narrative-driven, singleplayer games. At least, until someone pulls off an awesome narrative-driven multiplayer game. On that note, my absolute favorite game of all time is System Shock 2. And judging from how Bioshock turned out, it will remain in that position forever. At least until I spoil my memories by playing through it again.
So far, I’ve written some articles, reviews, a couple rants, and something I call “Today’s Game” which is just my thoughts about whichever game I played that day. Eventually, I’d like to get into doing stuff that’s a bit more dynamic, like video stuff or a podcast or something. The sections for these are now up and now I just need to produce the content for them. Feel free to check what’s available in the different sections at the top, all the posts of which are aggregated in the RSS feed. Don’t worry about me clogging it up with a bunch of nonsense. I’m far too busy clutching my videogames to my chest to post all the time.
Panda, endlessly fascinated by his (then) complete
collection of Silent HIll games. Ah, youth.
‘hem. Anyway, I hope you enjoy what I have here so far!
Oh, one last thing – I can be reached at panda@vgpanda.com so feel free to e-mail me about whatever you like.
